I exhort the elders among you … shepherd the flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but willingly, as God would have you; not for shameful gain but eagerly; not domineering over those in your charge, but being examples to the flock.

  • Sammy Chang (Elder)

    Sammy Chang was raised in San Francisco. He attended UC Berkeley, earned his doctorate of medicine from UC Davis, and practiced pediatrics for 31 years. He is married to Wendy and has two children and two grandchildren. He has been a member of MBC for more than 10 years and enjoys helping people, traveling, and enthusiastically playing pickleball.

  • Steve Jung (Elder)

    Steve attended the University of California Berkeley and received his professional degrees from Washington University in St. Louis. He practiced Orthodontics for forty years before retirement. He enjoys reading and traveling with his wife Doris, with whom two sons were raised. Having been a member of MBC for over twenty years, Steve is excited about its ongoing dedication to sharing the gospel to all generations.

  • Sam Lee (Staff Elder)

    Sam has been serving MBC as a pastor since July 2020. He grew up in the Tri-Valley and received his B.S. in Computer Engineering at UCLA. After working as an engineer for some years, he entered pastoral ministry and received his M.Div at The Master’s Seminary. Sam is married to his lovely wife Angela, and together they enjoy cherishing time with their two children, laughing very very loudly, and fellowshipping with their church family.
